Unpublished information is presented on the excavations of Maks Portugal Zamora carried out in 1940. In addition to historically contextualizing these investigations and know the participation of different social actors in the events surrounding the research, interpretations on different aspects derived from the research findings are made known, such as the relation of the ancestors to the production and welfare of the community, decapitation as part of the ritual destined to the cult offertility, social differences, gender and occupation from the evidence of burials.
