    Abstract With this issue, the column presents the Huarochirí Manuscript, an important Andean colonial document, compiled under the direction of the priest Francisco de Ávila. A famous text because of the translation to Spanish prepared by Peruvian writer José María Arguedas, and because one of its fragments: the conversation between a fox from up above the mountain and one from down below.
