Issue #19 of the periodical column "Palabras ancladas" presents the story of a Mesoamerican colonial manuscript written in Kaqchikel, currently preserved in the National Library of France. In addition to providing a historical context for the manuscript and a brief description of its contents, this text tells the avatars that carried the Kaqchikel document from the Guatemalan highlands to the French bibliographic collection.
