Abstract The anatomical variations concerning their position and length of the vermiform appendix are not constant and about its variations is limited, even more so at right location. We report the case of a patient of 78 years of age, entering the oncology service with a diagnosis of acute abdomen, perforated recto- sigmoid colon, hypertension cancer surgery and histopathological study reported moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma infiltrating ulcerated performed, cecal appendix without pathological changes located at right.
