    Abstract

RAMOS AZPEITIA, Mitsuo Osvaldo. Review of models for superplastic deformation mechanisms in metal alloys. Rev. Met. UTO [online]. 2016, n.38, pp. 16-24. ISSN 2078-5593.

The models for the mechanisms of superplastic deformation in metal alloys are based on the study of the mechanical response and on the evaluation of the microstructural changes that happen due to deformation. In the last 45 years many models for superplastic deformation mechanisms have been proposed, which are based primarily on the study of the mechanical response. In these models, it is generally assumed that the deformation is performed entirely in steady state. This article presents a review of the main models proposed for superplastic deformation mechanisms in metallic alloys. It also includes a general analysis of the models
