ABSTRACT The project aims to determine the cost of software product development from the identification of a set of key attributes (eg size, level of quality, development effort, etc.) based on the use of regression techniques linear. In this paper we present some characteristics of the product understudy and describe aspects of the process ofdeveloping them; based on theseconcepts, a variable selection process and a data set to be developed will consider the application the linear regression method.
