Abstract This article presents a proposal to measure the opinions of eight presidents of Latin American countries using the information of Twitter through the use of web scraping in R. The measures are based onthe base of followers, favorites, retweets and an analysis of feelings of the tweets of the users towards the presidents. The information corresponding to the month of September 2019.
