While ajayu is an initiative of the University Bolivian Catholic "San Pablo", intended as a means of expression without institutional boundaries and reflective space for exchange and discussion of ideas, concepts and experiences emerging discipline of psychology. Therefore, theoretical contributions are welcome conceptual, epistemological considerations, experimental contributions and any trial involving a positive contribution to our science, from inside or outside.

Ajayu intended as also the spirit that from the virtual anime, ie "soul" to students of psychology, becoming a tool of personal growth for them.

Ajayu magazine as an organ of scientific diffusion of the Psychology Department started as an initiative of Dr. Eric Roth 2002, within its operational plan as the Director of the Department of Psychology at the Universidad Católica Boliviana "San Pablo". With the unconditional support of Mr. Jaime Gomez, organized the first number with the intention to disseminate the scientific knowledge produced in the Race of Psychology.

It was thought initially to create a space for dissemination of research conducted by teachers of psychology. Then we considered the possibility of publishing the best undergraduate thesis under the supervision of the tutors in the following Article armed APA

With the creation of the Degree in Psychology (Specialty and Masters), the journal is in the midst of publishing the best papers relating to undergraduate studies.

In 2009, the negotiations begin with the system Scielo (Scientific Electronic Library Online) for the incorporation of our magazine. At the same time entering Ajayu Latindex, international journal system which is incorporated.

Current projects relate to the inclusion of articles from foreign colleagues, as well as the development of joint research with national and international universities.

The journal is abbreviated Ajayu.
